This blog is about the Hartman Reserve's first Artist-in-Resident, Doug Davis from Hawkeye, IA. Doug was selected from a pool of artist to set up his studio in the Gene and Betty Buckles Programming Center. He will be in the beautiful space from July-September 2011. At the end of his stay he will donate an original piece of artwork.

Sedona AZ
I'M BACK ON THE TRAIL!!!
This time I am in North Central Arizona. In Sedona where the red rock landscapes are so picturesque no wonder a lot of western movies were made here. There are a lot of trails and parks here at the foothills of these beautiful escarpments.
